This is the only full magazine article I have found on the RRRR. It dates back to 1944. What is also most amazing is that Fred also went on to publish the only known book on the history of the Raritan River Railroad 39 years later in 1983 (Fred Deibert, Railpace 1983, Rails up the Raritan)!
If it wasn’t for good old Fred, there may have never been any information published about this great little short line. Thank you Fred! We are all eternally grateful!

Note:
Some browsers will
always open the picture full screen. If the
picture is bigger than your window size, it will shrink it down to fit in the
picture window. While this is convenient
when you want to see the entire picture, when looking at maps, or other large
pictures, this is inconvenient because it causes all the text and lines to get
scrappy looking.
To set your browser
so images ALWAYS open to their exact FULL size, follow these steps.
If you have IE 6, click on Tools, click on Internet Options, click on Advanced, scroll down to Multimedia and UNCHECK the Enable Automatic Image Resizing. Now the image should open to be the full size, not the window size. Happy Viewing!
If it doesn’t work, e-mail me (Tom_E_Reynolds at Yahoo.com) and I’ll help you.
